The Emory University Department of Ophthalmology is seeking a full-time faculty member to join our Optometry Services.

Applicants must have a Doctor of Optometry degree and residency training or commensurate work experience. The Optometrist will assist with clinical patient care primarily in the Grady Health System, main Atlanta metro location and Camp Creek neighborhood health center. The candidate must also be willing to participate in the training of Department residents and fellows, as well as in research. The Optometrist will report to the Director of the Optometry Service and to the Department of Ophthalmology Chair. Rank and salary commensurate with experience.

Specific applications are being accepted for candidates in the area of primary eye care and ocular disease. Residency training in ocular disease, geriatrics or low vision rehabilitation is most desirable along with a passion to provide eye care to underserved populations. Commensurate work experience will be considered.
